Dr. Mél Hogan Contributes to Publication, Fueling Culture: 101 Words for Energy and Environment

Dr. Mél Hogan contributed a chapter to Publication, Fueling Culture: 101 Words for Energy and Environment. Edited by Imre Szeman, Jennifer Wenzel, and Patricia Yaeger. (Fordham University Press) 

"Fueling Culture offers a compendium of keywords written by scholars and practitioners from around the world and across the humanities and social sciences."

Dr. Hogan's entry is on (computer) "Servers" in a "keywords" approach to understanding the broad impact fossil fuels have on contemporary culture and politics.

CMF Raises Over $2300 For United Way

On November 17, 2016, we held our annual CMF United Way Auction Fundraiser to support the University of Calgary’s 2016 United Way campaign. The University is almost halfway toward its goal of raising $500,000 for United Way this year, and we are proud to announce that our auction raised OVER $2300 toward the overall goal!
