COMS 641 - Intercultural & Intl Communicate - Fall 2006

An examination of communication issues and processes across cultures, in interpersonal and media contexts. Specific areas for discussion include issues of multiculturalism and identity in Canadian and international contexts, the theoretical and practical bases for communication processes across cultures in organizational, national and international contexts, and the role and impact of media systems in processes of culture, development and identity formation.
This course may not be repeated for credit.
