CMCL 301 - Foundations of Western Culture - Fall 2012

A critical integrative examination of the Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian heritage of Western Culture with attention to literature, arts, philosophy, religion and economic, scientific, political and social texts. Focus is on major ideas, principles and their implications in the Ancient and Medieval periods including comparison with non-Western traditions.
This course may not be repeated for credit.

  • Credit for both Communication and Culture 301 and General Studies 300 will not be allowed.
